Foods that are rich in iron
Pork and chicken liver.
Red meat (the darker the colour of the meat, the more iron it contains).
Rabbit and poultry (especially turkey).
Quail eggs.
Seafood (caviar, oysters, mussels, red fish).
Pumpkin seeds, cashews, peanuts, dark chocolate (70%+).
Figs, rose hips, persimmons, apples.
Beetroot and its greens.
Oatmeal, buckwheat, quinoa.
Potatoes in their skins (the peel contains additional vitamin C).
Dried mushrooms.
Legumes – lentils, soya, chickpeas, peas.
